Mayor Tenney as Chairman of the Mun. Peace and Order Council (MPOC), Mun. Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC), Local Health Board (LHB) and Local School Board (LSB), and other LSBs spearheaded the conduct of quarterly joint meetings attended by all heads of local offices and line agencies, CSOs, and LGU Officials: Hon. Vice Mayor Dialalodin Maruhom, Sangguniang Bayan Members and all Barangay Charmen. The joint meeting was held at Sub-Office at Barangay Danugan on September 28, 2022.
The Heads of the different line agencies and local offices presented their accomplishments, status reports, and updates on the ongoing programs, projects, activities, and services. Some of the important issues and concerns that were raised are the problems on proper solid wastes disposal, BPAT visibility, Drug-related incidence, RIDO settlement, COVID19 efforts, and peace and order situations were also addressed during the meeting.
Mayor Tenney also took the opportunity to share with the body the accomplishments of LGU Pualas, to name a few; the establishment of mobile signals, construction of a public toilet at Brgy Purog, settlement of 5 RIDOs in three months, installation of solar streetlights along the national highway, cash for work program, the new water system at Mun. Hall, bridging support programs for line agencies and others.
The members also learned about their duties, responsibilities, functions, and the composition of different councils and boards through the lectures delivered by MLGOO Rayannah Andig and Focal Persons. It was highlighted during the sessions the mandatory representation of CSOs in the council meetings and Brgy. Officials for inclusive and participatory governance.
