Mayor Amanoden ”Tenney” T. Ducol initiated a meeting with the kind support and participation of ADOPT Supervisor Mr. Camaloden Malawani, Supervisor Aljiefana A. Tanog, School Administrators and other participating guests from other Offices. The participants are mostly School Heads/Principals from elementary and secondary schools at Pualas who were invited to share and discuss about the current situation of their schools and the pressing issues and concerns that are affecting the learning environment of the students and various challenges affecting their teaching career. Among the various pressing issues and concerns that were presented include: the lack of reservoir and water system, limited classrooms, under staffing, road accessibility issues, lack of school facilities, absence of toilets and request for additional school buildings.
As part of the Makabagong Pualas flagship programs, bridging support programs and projects for DepEd/MBHTE are a priority of Mayor Tenney Ducol, he assured all the school heads that LGU Pualas will extend support to schools that are in need of immediate help and assistance. The meeting was held at Danugan Central Elementary School earlier this morning. This initiative will be a regular activity to strengthen the partnership and collaboration of LGU Pualas and MBHTE and to promote more meaningful activities and programs for the students and teachers at the Municipality of Pualas.
